Tieguanyin: Winter 2017 Special Acquisition
This conventionally-baked batch placed third in the Muzha Winter Tieguanyin Competition. It is more subtle with a more delicate nature than the charcoal-baked tieguanyin tea from recent seasons, a difference I am told reflects the preferences of the contest judges. It is exceedingly smooth and refined, but powerful in a way that typifies what is known as tea qi. This tea seems to want to resist brewing strong, so for the best experience focus on the delicate flavors and prepare it with a lighter touch.

Tieguanyin: Winter 2016 Premium
An excellent tea with a flavor and aroma fine-tuned through skillful charcoal baking. This tea does not tend to brew up as heavy as the bright color would indicate, and keeps a delicate aroma and wispy dry finish through many infusions.
